EVOLUTION,CHRISTIANITY...?

So , if we evolved from apes n stuff, or if we where created from dust by a runaway dad, why is there MEN and WOMEN ? wouldnt we be one thing ? human ? so, when people say , men are from mars, and women from venus..... what if its true ? :(
