How do you play rage over a lost penny?

hey everyone i just started playing the keyboard at the beginning of the month and i can only play rage over a lost penny up to like 25 seconds into where there is a long succession of sixteenth notes that go down the staff then up the staff, and down the staff is the easy part but when im trying to go up the staff its hard for me and im guessing its because of my technique since im self taught. is there anyone that knows this piece that could give me some helpful advice because the way i do it is like i use my index to hit the black keys which seems "jumpy" and not fluid. thanks for any advice (and i can do anything i set my mind to so dont say its to hard for a beginner =])
