Why did Hyundai made two subsequent face lift of its Verna car in quick succession?

In recent past Hyundai had gone for face lift for its Verna car, but again it came out with yet another face lift and both styling were entirely different. Although i didn't like the initial face lift and personally feel that the latest is just awesome . I want to know the technical planning or thinking behind the concept with respect to the management strategy .
