Does Liberalism make you dumb?

I came from a 'progessive' conservative background, nothing is more dire than being a conservative and the atrocities it has no reasonable excuse for. Liberals are better on defence, justice, economics, healthcare, communication, social care and freedom, conservatives are wolves in sheeps clothing on these issues and if they can't be honest they should (and must) be killed live on tv with captions to deter social dishonesty (fraud (a crime in revolutionary UK)).
